How to enable a Room Alert monitor to work with the
mobile App.
Disclaimer: Room Alert app was developed by a partnership between EDP Communications and Mobilica (Pty) Ltd. The app is not affiliated to AVTECH Software and needs its own subscription in order for it to work.
The Room Alert App works with push notifications from the Room Alert Monitor.
Please note no sensitive data is shared or stored.
Limitations:
Please note the monitors currently supported are the 3E, 12E, 32E, 3S, 12S, and 32S.
Latest firmware obtainable from RoomAlert.com is recommended.
For this to work you need to configure the Room Alert monitor to push the alerts to our server. Our server will in turn push sensor value data and alerts to your mobile Android and iOS phone. (Huawei Store not supported)
Please note you need to have a stable internet connection on your Room Alert Monitor and your mobile phone for you to receive instant notifications.
Currently the app does not support historical logging. Sensor Data and push notifications happens in real-time.
Firstly, you have to configure the Room Alert Monitor.
Open the web interface of your Room Alert Monitor. This is done by typing the ip address of the monitor in your browser. The model of the Room Alert monitor in the demo is the 32E

Click on settings. If your 32E has a password, please enter it here. Default username and password for the 32E is blank.

Click on Advanced

Click on Room Alert Manager

Now you need to enter our server IP address into the IP address of Room Alert Manager host system
Click the checkbox to enable you to edit the
IP: 102.133.169.63
Port: 8888
Scheduled push interval: 10 minutes
